1. Summary

Filmee applies film-inspired filters, frames, and edits on your device. We do not upload your photos or videos to an EXO Studio server. The app uses third-party services for advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, attribution, remote configuration, and Google Play purchases. Those services may collect the technical and usage information described below.

Filmee does not require an account and does not ask for your name, phone number, or precise location.

2. Information handled

Camera and photo content

When you grant camera access, Filmee uses the camera to preview and capture photos. When you choose a photo through Android's system photo picker, the app receives access only to the item you selected. Filters and frames are applied locally. Result files and the app's local library index remain on your device unless you choose to share or export them using Android.

Device, advertising, and usage data

Our service providers may process device or other identifiers (including the Android advertising ID when available), IP address and approximate location inferred from it, app interactions, ad impressions and revenue, device and app metadata, consent choices, diagnostics, and crash data. We use this information to provide and improve the app, measure performance, prevent fraud, attribute installs, and show or measure advertising.

Purchase information

If you buy a subscription, Google Play processes the payment. Filmee receives purchase status, product identifier, price/currency, and a transaction or purchase token needed to unlock premium features, acknowledge the purchase, prevent duplicate processing, and measure a purchase event. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Local preferences

Language, onboarding state, premium state, and similar settings are stored locally on your device so the app can remember your choices.

3. Service providers

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and app configuration, Filmee may use:

• Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform for ads and privacy choices.
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config) for usage measurement, diagnostics, and app configuration.
• Adjust for attribution and advertising measurement.
• Meta App Events and TikTok Business SDK for campaign and event measurement.
• Google Play Billing for subscriptions and purchase status.

Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards used by each provider.

4. Your choices

• You can deny or revoke camera permission in Android settings. Camera features will then be unavailable.
• Where required, the app presents a consent form before requesting ads. You can revisit available privacy choices from the app's Settings screen.
• You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID and manage ad personalization in your device or Google account settings.
• You can delete exported photos through your device gallery and clear Filmee's local data in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
• You can cancel subscriptions through Google Play.

5. Retention and security

On-device content and preferences remain until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall Filmee. Third-party providers retain technical, advertising, analytics, crash, attribution, and purchase-event information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

We use reasonable safeguards, including Android platform protections and encrypted network connections used by our providers. No transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Children

Filmee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

7. Rights, changes, and contact

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. Because Filmee has no account system and photo content stays on your device, we may need device or event details to identify data held by a service provider.

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be communicated in the app.
